Elderly Man Hit by Car Near Mt. SAC

The man suffered head trauma and is listed in critical condition.

An elderly man hit by a car today while crossing Grand Avenue near Mt. San Antonio College was critically injured.

At 6:40 a.m., the man was crossing at the light at San Jose Hills Road and Grand when he was struck by a compact car turning right on to Grand, Walnut-Diamond Bar station Sheriff’s Sgt. Allen Fulkerson said.

The pedestrian suffered head trauma and was taken to the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center in critical condition, Fulkerson said.

The driver of the car has not been cited as the accident is still under investigation, he said.
