JM: You must be Pokemon in disguise. Why did Pokemon have campaign violations for which he paid a $14k fine. He cheats like they all do but got caught. "unselfish giving, raising needed funds, and public service" Don't make me gag. And you can be sure "needed funds" are 'other people's money'. So common with politicians.

Vito, I asked him about his fine. He paid it without a fight because he and his campaign failed to file the contribution with in 24 hours, they thought they had 48 hours. The "contribution" was from his own company to cover the expences from his 1998 Assembly Campaign. It amazes me that the only thing you can cite is something from 16 years ago. I am not Bob Pacheco in disguise, I am a tax paying, parent and resident of Walnut for 25 years. Since you know what is so common with politicians you must be involved, what have you done to serve the city, county or state? Donate any of your time to a worthy cause? Do a little research or better yet ask the man himself about his career, his views, his fundraising and his charity work.

I'll comment on my own posting: I just find it amusing and strange that he has a reason to wish one segment of Walnuts population a Happy New Year while he didn't find it necessary to wish one to everyone on Jan. 1. Yes I know he is seeking votes from one group, it's very obvious ! And I think this kind of politics is very wrong!

Sorry, but I tend to agree with Vito this time, seems too political and not coming from the heart...

Happy Chinese New Years Vito.
