More BS from another totally useless Walnut councilmember. Only good for handing out awards, certificates and showing up at photo ops.

Isn't he a month late? Or is he only interested in a certain part of his constituents ? Maybe this is just another instance of Foot-in-Mouth disease?

This is a tip of the hat to the Chinese. Pacheco needs to look like he appreciates the Chinese if he wants to win the election. If the Chinese are as racist as people suspect, Pacheco will be destroyed.

Ray its Chinese New Year.

Vito another totally useless post by yourself. Grow up and get a life. What are you going to do when The Patch is shut down?
Vito Spago February 01, 2014 at 07:33 PM
JM. Ray knows it is CNY. He is poking fun at Pokemon for going after a 'certain part of his constituents'. Not sure if Patch will be shut down. It will be combines with others under one editor. Else I will go to the SGV Tribune. Why is my post useless. Seems Pokemon's post was useless and self serving.
JM February 02, 2014 at 12:45 PM
Vito, his name is Bob Pacheco not Pokemon. He posted a message to people of Walnut who are celebrating Chinese New Year. I am sure you have a long list of personal reasons why you feel the need to attack. If your personal history of unselfish giving, raising needed funds and public service is as long and distinguished as Mr. Pacheco then I tip my hat to you. I have a feeling that you give very little if any of your time, money or efforts to anything other that posting comments and attacking people with your words and opinions.
Vito Spago February 02, 2014 at 01:59 PM
JM: You must be Pokemon in disguise. Why did Pokemon have campaign violations for which he paid a $14k fine. He cheats like they all do but got caught. "unselfish giving, raising needed funds, and public service" Don't make me gag. And you can be sure "needed funds" are 'other people's money'. So common with politicians.
JM February 02, 2014 at 04:45 PM
Vito, I asked him about his fine. He paid it without a fight because he and his campaign failed to file the contribution with in 24 hours, they thought they had 48 hours. The "contribution" was from his own company to cover the expences from his 1998 Assembly Campaign. It amazes me that the only thing you can cite is something from 16 years ago. I am not Bob Pacheco in disguise, I am a tax paying, parent and resident of Walnut for 25 years. Since you know what is so common with politicians you must be involved, what have you done to serve the city, county or state? Donate any of your time to a worthy cause? Do a little research or better yet ask the man himself about his career, his views, his fundraising and his charity work.

I'll comment on my own posting: I just find it amusing and strange that he has a reason to wish one segment of Walnuts population a Happy New Year while he didn't find it necessary to wish one to everyone on Jan. 1. Yes I know he is seeking votes from one group, it's very obvious ! And I think this kind of politics is very wrong!

Sorry, but I tend to agree with Vito this time, seems too political and not coming from the heart...

Happy Chinese New Years Vito.
