MEET & GREET YOUR CANDIDATES

A formal invitation letter, as written below, will be hand delivered to each candidate's campaign headquarters tomorrow/Wednesday. All Walnut residents are welcome.
_______________
April 1, 2014
Dear Walnut City Council Candidates,
Several Walnut residents have expressed interest in being able to meet all the City Council candidates in a social setting so that we can become better acquainted with you, as our neighbors, and with your personal goals for our beautiful city.
The best location for this social outing is the Donut Tree, which is at the heart of our city. The owners of the Donut Tree have graciously agreed to have this event held at their business. Residents and candidates alike who wish to have snacks or refreshments during this social can purchase their own at any of the venues located in the shopping center. Using other locations such as city facility or city park will require an application process and reservation, as well as setting up and providing refreshments, which involve too many unnecessary hassles.
It will be an honor to have you join us this coming Saturday, April 5, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, at this informal “MEET & GREET YOUR CANDIDATES” social event. Please advise your supporters that this is not a political rally nor a political forum. This event is merely a chance for all of us to converge as an extended family, to work together for the betterment of our city.
Thank you in advance for your participation. Best wishes to the winners of this election, and may GOD bless you with the wisdom, fortitude, and perseverance to do good for our community.
Sincerely,
Jenny Yen Ha
