The Diamond Ranch Panthers are ready to repeat last year's 41-0 victory of Diamond Bar, but this time the stakes are a little bit higher.

The introduction of the Mayor's Cup this year adds more to the bragging rights as it will be displayed in the winning team's trophy case. I had an opportunity to interview Panthers head Coach Roddy Layton on the Prep Sports podcast on the Sportscenetv.net website. He gives us an in-depth interview talking about his background, the players on his 2011 team and of course his thoughts on this Friday night's Mayor's Cup game.
