Prep Football Top 10 Polls

The official CIF-Southern Section High School Football Top 10 Polls were released today. In the Southeast Division, which encompasses the Hacienda League, shows the Diamond Ranch Panthers with a record of 4-1 in the number two spot behind the Suburban League's Norwalk High School which is in the top spot. Diamond Bar is also ranked in the top ten poll at the tenth spot with a record of 4-1.

Both Diamond Ranch and Diamond Bar are coming off victories agains their opponents. The Brahmas defeated the Bonita Bearcats 49-26 and the Diamond Ranch Panthers were victorious over West Covina 47-21.

Coming into Week 5, the Brahmas will be at home to face the Diamond Ranch Panthers in the third annual Mayor's Cup Trophy game. This game between inter-city high schools has seen the Panthers win the inaugural game and keep the cup with a victory of last year's matchup. The Brahmas are looking to win the game in front of their home crowd and bring the cup to Diamond Bar High School for the first time. 

As we get closer to the big game, follow this blog as we will post pre game interviews this week with Panthers Head Coach Roddy Layton and Brahmas Head Coach Ryan Maine.
