UPDATED: 240 Diamond Bar Customers Could Be Without Power Until 12 a.m.

The outage was first reported after 9 a.m. this morning.

The power is out for 240 customers in Diamond Bar right now, including Diamond Bar High School.

According to Southern California Edison, the cause is equipment problems, and a crew is out trying to make repairs. The outage was first reported at 9:11 a.m., and power is expected to be restored by 7 p.m. tonight.

Update, as of 9:27 p.m.: According to Southern California Edison, power is still out for 241 customers, with the estimated restoration time now pushed back to midnight.
