Chili's Fundraiser Honoring DB High's Danika Tibayan Planned

The 17-year-old senior and cheerleader died Nov. 30.

Friends and family plan to host a fundraiser at Chili’s in Diamond Bar in memory of Danika Tibayan.

Tibayan was the 17-year-old Diamond Bar High School senior and cheerleader who died Nov. 30, about a week after suffering an asthma attack.

After her death, her family donated some of her organs.

The Chili’s fundraiser is on Monday and Tuesday.  Customers must bring in a copy of the attached flyer and the restaurant will contribute 15 percent of all sales on those two days to causes the Tibayan family supports in the teen’s name.

The fundraiser goes from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on at the Chili’s Diamond Bar location, 707 Grand Ave.
