Diamond Bar to Bring Taste of Winter to Town with Snow Fest

The following news release is courtesy of the city of Diamond Bar.

The City of Diamond Bar is set to kick off its year-long schedule of events commemorating Diamond Bar’s 25 years of cityhood with its popular Winter Snow Fest event.

This family-friendly event takes place on January 18 at Pantera Park, 738 Pantera Drive, from 10am to 4pm. It features a large play area, four sledding hills, winter-themed games and crafts, food booths, and live entertainment by community groups.

Admission and access to the snow play areas is free, however sledding, game and craft areas are subject to a minimal fee - $5.00 for unlimited sledding and $1 to participate in four games/crafts.

Free shuttle service to and from Pantera Park and the surrounding neighborhood will be available regularly throughout event hours. Sleds will be provided; waterproof gloves and closed-toed shoes are encouraged.

Winter Snow Fest is the first event of many scheduled throughout the year to commemorate Diamond Bar’s silver anniversary as an incorporated city.  For more information, call the City’s Recreation Services Division at 909.839.7070.
