Local Eagle Scouts March in Rose Parade

Walnut High students Steven and David Tragarz, as well as Diamond Bar High graduate Nathan Chan, participated in the parade.

Walnut and Diamond Bar residents might have noticed a few familiar faces while watching the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day.

Eagle Scouts Steven Tragarz, David Tragarz, and Nathan Chan, representing Walnut Troop 737 marched in the parade.  Steven and David, the sons of Councilwoman Nancy Tragarz, both live in Walnut and attend Walnut High.

Nathan Chan was a 2012 valedictorian at Diamon Bar High School.  He is a Diamond Bar resident and attends Pepperdine University. Approximately 50 Eagle Scouts and 40 Gold Award Girl Scouts were selected to carry banners in the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade.
