Walnut Library Patron Rewarded for Getting Card
The gift bag giveaway was part of the Los Angeles County Public Library's 100th birthday celebration.
As part of the 100th year celebration of the Los Angeles County Public Library System, the Walnut Public Library offered a gift bag filled with books and snacks to the 100th person registering for a library card in September 2012.
The 100th person to register was Sydney Tien. Miss Tien was with her mother and they were thrilled that she was awarded the prize.
