Walnut Valley Water District Holding 60th Anniversary Open House
The event will take place Saturday, April 28.
The Walnut Valley Water District is holding its 60th anniversary Open House on Saturday, April 28.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 271 South Brea Canyon Road, Walnut.
Activities and games will be available for kids, as well as educational displays for adults, including information on water quality and how to read your water meter. There will also be giveaways and free hot dogs, popcorn, and sodas.

2012 marks the 60th year of the Walnut Valley Water District, which held its first meeting on July 24, 1952. The first board developed the guidelines and direction for the management and operation of the new district.
