Warming Trend on Horizon This Week

Weather for the week of Sept. 30.

We may be eight days into Autumn, but SoCal is still feeling the heat this week with sunny skies and tempts in the 80s.

Monday
The start of the work week will experience a slight cool off from the previous day, with a high of 86 degrees and crystal clear skies. A calm wind will blow out of the southwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour. The night will see a cool nighttime low of 52.

Tuesday
The day will cool down a bit to 80 degrees. That breeze will pack a little bigger punch Tuesday, with winds around 20 miles per hour. The nighttime low will be around 55.

Wednesday
Hump day will still feel the heat, with a high of 80 degrees and a low of 54. Some patchy fog may roll in after 11 p.m.

Thursday
Patch fog may persist in the morning, but should burn off before 11 a.m. Temperatures should stay steady, both with daytime and nighttime temps. The high will be 82, the low will be 59.

Friday
Things will heat up rather quickly for the day. The high will hover around 91 degrees, while things will also warm up at night with a low of 59 degrees.

As far as the weekend's concerned, things will see a warmup with temps in the 90s.
