Diamond Bar Hosts Annual Photo Contest

Photographers of all ages and all skill level are encouraged to participate. But you must live in Diamond Bar.

Attention all you passionate photographers and shutterbugs, it’s time for ’s fifth annual Diamond Bar Through My Lens photo contest.

The city has begun accepting entries in following categories:

  • People
  • Pets
  • Places
  • Nature
  • Black & white
  • Historical reference – taken prior to 1989
  • Digitally altered

The contest is open to Diamond Bar residents of all ages and photography skill levels. Deadline for entries is 4:30 p.m. Nov. 30.

Winning photographs and finalists will be selected in each division and category in December. Top winners get a cash prize courtesy of the Diamond Bar Community Foundation, city officials said.

All photos entered will be considered for publication in the City’s 18-month Calendar and Services Guide, which will be available to the public in June 2013.
