City Photo Contest Launches

Diamond Bar Through My Lens.
Now in its fifth year, the contest aims to raise
community spirit while highlighting the best of
Diamond Bar as captured through the camera lenses
of residents.
Entries are accepted in two age
divisions: adults age 18
and older and youth age
17 and younger, and
seven categories:
People, Pets, Places,
Nature, and Digitally-
Altered (added this year as a result of participant
feedback).
The contest is open only to Diamond Bar residents,
and photos may be submitted in every category,
but only one entry per category will be accepted.
Deadline for entries is 4:30 pm on Friday, November 30.
In December, winning photographs and finalists will
be selected in each division and category, with the
winners awarded congratulatory certificates as well as
monetary prizes, thanks to the financial support of the
Diamond Bar Community Foundation (DBCF).
Top contest entries may be published in the City’s
2013-2014 Calendar and Services Guide and the
DBCF monthly Windmill magazine.
