Crunch Opening Gym in Diamond Bar

Crunch Franchise announces the opening of its newest franchise locations in Chino and Diamond Bar. The renowned gym chain best known for making serious fitness fun through innovative group fitness programming and cutting-edge training offerings will bring its 'No Judgments' philosophy to two suburban cities located outside of Los Angeles.

Set to open this summer, these already health conscious communities can look forward to the new clubs opening just in time to keep beach bodies in shape throughout the year. Located at 1140 Diamond Bar Blvd. in the Towne Center Shopping Center, Crunch Diamond Bar will occupy a 16,500 square foot space. Additionally, the brand new 15,500 square foot Chino location can be found approximately 9 miles east of Diamond Bar at 5420-A Philadelphia Street near Philadelphia Street and Central Avenue.

Both gyms will feature a variety of amenities, including access to state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, full-service locker rooms, tanning, HydroMassage and a variety of Crunch's signature group fitness classes including Zumba, Yoga Body Sculpt, Fat Burning Pilates, Cardio Tai Box, BOSU Bootcamp and more. Expert personal trainers will be on hand to provide members with personalized fitness plans.

Crunch Franchisee David Harman plans for his newest clubs to be immensely involved with the local communities. Diamond Bar and Chino are two cities recognized for their excellent schools, safe neighborhoods and community spirit. Harman spends a lot of time in both areas with his family and looks forward to servicing those cities. "Crunch is the perfect fit for the area, I'm especially excited to bring clubs to Diamond Bar and Chino and become a part of such friendly and diverse communities," said Harman.

Harman is a veteran to the industry with over 25 years of club management experience across the United States. With seven Crunch locations already established in the Inland Empire, Harman now has a total of nine Crunch gyms under his belt. He plans to expand the Inland Empire even further, anticipating that he will open 4-6 more clubs in the area this year.

Enrollment center is now open at both locations, 1140 Diamond Bar Blvd., Diamond Bar and 5420-A Philadelphia St., Chino. For more information about these locations, visit CrunchDiamondBar.com and CrunchChino.com

Where is this going to be located? The old Ralph's location?

I just looked on Diamond Bar's site and minutes of a past City Council meeting say it's in the former Ralphs.
Cary Blanchard May 20, 2014 at 01:04 AM
Their location is in the previous East-West Bank and UPS store, which moved next door. Their staff was very friendly and helpful.

Thanks! I misread the minutes. I was surprised that it would go in the former Ralphs because it seems like the city would prefer a business that would generate higher sales taxes than a gym. Good luck to Crunch. Always good to hear of new businesses coming to town.
