"If a plant is being eaten by bugs, it means there's something wrong (with the plant)," Rishi said. "I will start by fortifying the soil, adding compost and watering the plant, if I see bugs out there."

The Growing Home will have produce picked and ready for sale starting Monday and customers can even pick their produce straight from the yard if they choose.

Some nursery plants — mint, blackberry bushes, sweet lime trees, and loquat trees — will also be available for sale.

For each day, customers can find an updated list of the produce that will be on sale at the Growing Home's website.

Visit the site for a list of produce on sale Monday, Aug. 8, and directions to the home.

The home farm stand will be open weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 to 11 a.m.

On the Growing Home's Facebook page, the farmers said prices are comparable to organic produce at area farmers markets.
