Hot Dog Pops Recognized as Diamond Bar's New Business of the Month

A Diamond Bar eatery recently was honored as the city's new business of the month.

The City Council on July 16 recognized Hot Dog Pops, which opened in December on Diamond Bar Boulevard where D'Antonio's Ristorante used to be.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is known for its vintage sodas and root beers, 150 varieties.

Mayor Jack Tanaka thanked Kevin Hahm, who runs the restaurant, for operating in Diamond Bar.

Owner Danny Yoo, a U.S. Army reservist, could not attend because he was called to active duty in Afghanistan, Tanaka said.

Hahm said he was hired to do the marketing for the eatery but is running the business in Yoo's absence.
