Sprouts & Shutters is a business column that tracks store openings and closings in Diamond Bar and Walnut.
Whether you're a business owner about to open a new establishment or a local resident who noticed a “Coming Soon” or “Out of Business” sign, tell Patch about it by sending us an email. Don't worry if you don't have all the details—tips are helpful, too, but please include a business name and city.
The information will be used for the Sprouts & Shutters column and to update the business directory.
times, place is empty. I went once, just not my cup of tea. Preferred Carrow's. Hope they make it, but from what I have seen things not looking good.
I know my prices, I went in to Albertson's this week. Walked out. They are soooo expensive. I go all the way to Stater Bros in Rowland Heights. So much cheaper! I have met a few DB people there. Course Ralph's was very expensive too.
Ever thought about getting Trader Joe's or Sprouts?
Pros- The staff was very friendly. Cons - So if we agree with Vito then this is the kind of business that gets going in DB? Dingy & down in the heel? Hah, hah, imagine my surprise and excitement when I saw the sign... I thought it would be the kind of "Yard House" with drinks and dining. :) I, however, don't agree with Mr. Spago (surprise!)- I do have money in my bank account, my mortgage is current and yes, I like to buy nice things for myself. I work hard so does my husband and being hard working I feel like my family deserves them. However, I don't want to have always spend money on nicer things out of town in places like Brea or CHills. Diamond Bar should encourage places for us to spend our money locally and deepen our city revenues instead of making us shop elsewhere.
