Local Teens Learn Marketing, Presentation Skills Via Fashion Council

Diamond Bar High students were among those chosen to serve on a "fashion council" for a local shopping center.

The following was submitted for publication by The Shoppes at Chino Hills:

Students from five local high schools have been selected to participate in the 3rd Annual Teen Fashion Council at The Shoppes at Chino Hills.

Finalists representing Chino Hills High, Diamond Bar High, International Polytechnic High, Los Osos High and Ruben S. Ayala High were selected through a competition held earlier this summer open to all area high school students.

"Members of the Teen Council will be connecting with consumers and working with retailers across various events at the center throughout the summer," said The Shoppes Director of Marketing Sarah Corrigan.

"They are very excited to be an integral part of our ongoing marketing programs and fashion events, and will also participate in programs at the shopping center that develop their fashion, retail public relations and presentation skills, while providing community service to enhance their education and career goals," she said.
