Gas Station Near Diamond Bar High School Seeks Alcohol Permit

The owner of the Chevron across the street from Diamond Bar High School has submitted a municipal code amendment application to lift a sales ban on alcohol within 150 feet of a school.

A community meeting will be held Monday to discuss the submission of a municipal code amendment application to lift the ban on alcohol sales within 150 feet of a school.

The application to sell beer and wine was submitted by the owner of the Chevron station directly across the street from Diamond Bar High School at 21324 Pathfinder Road.

According to a flyer for the meeting that was distributed to property owners within 500 feet of the station, the owner and applicant, Mo Salimnia, is a longtime resident of Diamond Bar.

Attendees will hear information about the project for review and input. According to organizers, if necessary, a second meeting will be held.

Everyone is welcome to attend the 8 p.m. event at Heritage Park Community Center, 2900 S. Brea Canyon Road, Diamond Bar.
