UPDATED: Payless ShoeSource Scheduled to Close in January
Everything is 30 to 40 percent off at the closing store.
The Payless ShoeSource at 303 S. Diamond Bar Blvd. is closing its doors.
An employee said that the store is scheduled to close on January 28, 2012, but it will probably be shuttered sooner due to merchandise selling out fast.
Right now, everything in the store is 30 to 40 percent off. Store fixtures are also available for purchase.

UPDATE: According to Payless' U.S. media contact, Sacheen Cicero, the company will not disclose why the Diamond Bar store is closing. "With more than 4000 stores, we don’t comment on any specifics around stores – closings, opening, renovations or relocations," she wrote in an e-mail.
