This Just in: We're Merging Diamond Bar and Walnut Patch!

Patch is merging the sites in an effort to strengthen coverage.

Notice anything different? Yes, indeed, we have merged! As of today, Diamond Bar and Walnut-Industry Patch are one.

The move is intended to strengthen our coverage of the three communities. Based on the ways we’ve seen you, our faithful readers and advertisers, use the sites, it was just good common sense to combine them.

The cities share so much including a school district, Walnut Valley Unified School District, and law-enforcement office, in the Diamond Bar/Walnut Sheriff’s station.

Now, instead of asking you to check two sites for the news and information you need from Diamond Bar and Walnut-Industry, you’ll have it all in one place: right here on Diamond Bar-Walnut Patch!

And you’re not losing a Local Editor, you are gaining a second editor in Melanie Johnson. Melanie officially assumes the helm of the site but will work side-by-side with current editor Gina Tenorio who remains as co-editor of the site.

We know...change can be difficult. But we hope you’ll give us a chance to show you that we’ll still be offering the same robust coverage of everything happening in Walnut, Industry and Diamond Bar. In fact, this is meant to help us provide better coverage of the things that matter to residents of both communities - which is something we’re always striving to do!

As always, let us know what you think.
