Another Angel lost to cancer

for those who knew this walnut high school student

Good Afternoon:

As many have heard, last week we lost a graduate from the Class of 2012 to Leukemia. Michael Miyamoto was a courageous and loving young man who made a positive impact on our students, staff, school, and community.

All of us are saddened with the loss of Michael. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Miyamoto family.

I have spoken with the family and they have a simple request that I would hope our community will honor. Due to the limited size of the church, Saturdays service will be held for close friends and family. However, the family will be hosting a candlelight vigil on Friday, November 9 at 7:00 pm in the Walnut High School Football Stadium.

If you or your student would like to remember or honor Michael, the family is requesting that you do that during the vigil on Friday night. Again, Saturday will be for family and close friends.

Please remember the family and Michael in your prayers.
