Acapulco Restaurant has shuttered its Diamond Bar location. The last day of business was Sunday.
A phone call to the restaurant confirmed the closure, but additional details were not provided. Phone calls to the corporate headquarters have yet to be returned.
Several Patch readers wrote in to lament the closing, saying that it was a favorite restaurant and a great support to many local organizations, offering free food and more.
