Diamond Bar Prepares for 4th of July Blast

Diamond Bar's annual 4th of July celebration will be held at Diamond Bar High School from 5 to 9:30 p.m. with fireworks starting at 9 p.m.

Diamond Bar will host its 2011 Fourth of July celebration at from 5 to 9:30 p.m.

The fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m., and events and entertainment will be provided throughout the day.

Live music will be provided by the 60s-90s pop band Sound Bytes, and face painting and arts and crafts activities will be available for the children in attendance.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs to watch the fireworks show.

The city reminds residents that the use of fireworks is not permitted within city limits.

Volunteering:

The city is also seeking student volunteers between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Volunteers will need to show proof of attendance at Diamond Bar or Diamond Ranch High School or proof of residency in Diamond Bar during check-in at the red canopy at the event. All volunteers are asked to wear closed toed shoes.
