Get Out: Five Ideas for Your Weekend

School's out and summer is in session. Kick it off with music, museums, laughter and a great cause.

At this time of year, you can't help but hum the first few bars of that Alice Cooper song, "School's Out." While school may be , don't fear, there are lots of nearby events to keep everyone busy.

This weekend brings fun for the whole family. Kids will love digging for fossils, parents will love laughing at all-too-familiar vintage pics, and music fans will love rocking out (or calmly appreciating) two somewhat divergent concerts.

Best of all, everyone can pitch in for a great cause at Zachary's 5th Annual Bowl-a-Thon too.

Our goal is to make the Get Out planner as reliable as possible, but keep in mind, some events change at the last minute. We advise calling ahead just in case.
