Get Out: Five Ideas For Your Weekend

From superheroes to We Are Heroes, this weekend is super.

Get out your red high heels this weekend - and your cowboy boots, and your best dancing kicks in case you want to throw out a few flares during the We Are Heroes/Instant Noodles/Fanny Pak show. You never know, you just might get asked to join a crew.

Our goal is to make the Get Out planner as reliable as possible, but keep in mind, some events change at the last minute. We advise calling ahead just in case.

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. this Friday at the

Why Go: Country superstars LeAnn Rimes, Kellie Pickler and Gloriana perform live. Hear hits such as "How Do I Live" and "Can't Fight the Moonlight" from Rimes, "Red High Heels" and "Best Days of Your Life" from Pickler and "Wild at Heart" from Gloriana.

Pricing: $25-$125 plus fees and fair admission

When/Where: 8 a.m.-2 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday at the Pioneer Center, 1651 E Rowland Ave., West Covina

Why Go: Treasure hunt at this massive, two-day, fundraising yard sale at the Tri-Community Adult School. There will be raffle drawings for some great prizes, too.

Pricing: All proceeds raised will benefit Tri-Community Adult School ceramics classes

When/Where: Show times vary from 1-6 p.m. this Saturday at the

Why Go: Winners of season four of America's Best Dance Crew (and the first all-girl crew to win) We Are Heroes will perform live on the Coca-Cola Stage with finalists Instant Noodles and Fanny Pak. DJ Icy Ice, Toquon tha MC and beat boxer Musical Mammal will spin. American Idol finalist Andrew Garcia will sing a set, too. Performance times subject to change.

Pricing: Included in fair admission: $17 adult (13+), $12 child (6-12), $14 senior (60+), free for children 5 and younger

When/Where: 2-3:30 p.m. this Saturday at the

Why Go: The alert has been sent out, we need all superheroes to report to the library immediately! There will be games, prizes and a chance to make neat superhero costumes. This event is for ages 2 to 11. Seating is limited so come early. Children are welcome to wear their superhero costumes to the party.

When/Where: 7 p.m. this Saturday at the Honda Center, 2695 E Katella Ave., Anaheim

Why Go: Hear blink-182 hits such as "What's My Age Again?" and "All the Small Things" live, along with songs from My Chemical Romance including "Welcome to the Black Parade." Two very talented bands, one very lucky audience!
