"It Bites to Need Blood" Drive Coming Up

LifeStream and K-Earth 101 are hosting the “It Bites to Need Blood” drive in several inland communities this week, with the closest one in Chino Hills on October 6. 

The drive will last from 2 to 7 p.m. at the City of Chino Hills, 1400 City Center Drive, Chino Hills.

While supplies last, all donors will receive a t-shirt, a voucher for a discount to the Queen Mary’s Halloween-themed attraction Dark Harbor, a coupon for a bottle of stage blood from The Fun Corner in San Bernardino, and Gift of Life Donor Loyalty points. Twenty donors will win tickets to see War on December 29 in Anaheim.

Donors must come with a photo ID, be 17 years old, in good general health, and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. 

The blood that is donated will be distributed to more than 70 hospitals across Southern California.
