Last Minute Valentine's Day Gift Guide

There are several places to go to in Diamond Bar for a Valentine's Day present.

It’s Valentine’s Day, and if you missed the boat and are now scrambling for a present for somebody special, here are some Diamond Bar businesses you can count on for a great gift.

See’s Candy has a wide range of delectable chocolates, including some sugar free items. You can buy pre-packaged varieties, or select your own mix. There are also a few non-chocolate products, including delicious peanut brittle and lollipops. The store will even be open later tonight, closing at 9:30 p.m. in case you really waited until the last minute. See’s Candy, 1117 Grand Ave., Diamond Bar.

They aren’t quite open yet, but you can give your Valentine an IOU for a massage at the new Massage Envy. You can purchase a gift for a book lover and make a difference in the community by shopping at Basically BOOKS. Operated by the Friends of the Diamond Bar Library, proceeds go directly to the city’s library. Basically BOOKS, 23447 Golden Springs Dr., Diamond Bar.

Even if all of the restaurants in town are packed for Valentine’s Day, you can always stop by, get a gift certificate, and come back during a quieter night. From Italian to Japanese, there are dozens of restaurants to choose from. Take a look through Diamond Bar Patch’s food and dining listings for some ideas.

If you don’t have a lot of money but still want to do something special, take your Valentine to one of Diamond Bar’s many beautiful parks. You can bring a picnic, take a stroll, or even play a sport. The possibilities are endless!
