[UPDATED] Early Morning Accident Left Westbound 60 Lanes Blocked

A big-rig involved crash on the westbound 60 near Grand Avenue has left only one lane open. The accident was first reported around 6:15 a.m.

A multi-vehicle crash this morning left a motorcyclist injured and resulted in a fire and clogged traffic on the westbound 60 freeway near the 57 interchange.

The accident occurred at around 5:35 a.m. and blocked four lanes until around 6:15 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.

Paramedics responding treated the motorcyclist for unspecified injuries. The lanes were blocked while crews cleared the scene, Villalobos said.
