Nogales Street to Remain Closed and RUSD Hopes to 'Fill the Bus'

Here are five things Diamond Bar and Walnut residents need to know today.

1. The Rowland Heights Unified School District is seeking donations of school supplies such as pencils, crayons, and notebooks for students in need during its "fill a school bus" fundraiser today. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. outside of the AMC Theater entrance to the Puente Hills Mall. To read more about the fundraiser, click here.

2. The closure of Nogales Street is expected to continue today following Thursday's collision involving a truck and a train. Click here to read more about the closure.

3. Real estate agents will host open houses in both Walnut and Diamond Bar this weekend. Check out the locations for these events by clicking here.

4. Fast pitch softball sign ups start this Saturday at Round Table Pizza in Diamond Bar. For more information on the league, click here.
