St. Denis Sending Care Packages

The packages will be sent to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan for the holidays

St. Denis Catholic Church Christian Service is putting together care packages to ship to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan for the holidays.

According to President Liz Fan, the packages will be sent in time for them to arrive before Thanksgiving. 

Items that can be donated include small packages of food (including Ramen noodles, canned goods with pop tops, trail mix, gum, Lifesavers, etc.), sunscreen, and Chapstick. Personal notes and cards can also be submitted, as well as monetary donations to go towards postage and supplies.

The deadline to donate goods or money is Friday, October 28. Items can be dropped off  at St. Denis Church, 2151 S. Diamond Bar Blvd., Diamond Bar.
