Three Households Win in Holiday Decorating Contest

The contest was sponsored by the city.

The winners of Diamond Bar’s 2011 Holiday Home Decorating Contest were announced earlier this week, with three families taking home prizes.

The Ayad family at 24100 Benfield Place won for Best Holiday Spirit, the Saldana family at 21104 E. Gerndal Street for Best Lawn Display, and the Monk family at 1041 Farel Avenue for Most Energy Efficient.

Each winner received a yard sign, and will be recognized during the next City Council meeting on January 17, 2012.  

More than 60 homes participated in the contest, which was organized by the city’s Environmental Services Division.
