Week in Review

The Diamond Bar Ranch High School football team wins, sixth graders get iPads, and State Senator Bob Huff receives is honored

In case you missed it, here’s a look at what happened in and around Diamond Bar this week.

Pantera Elementary School is on the digital forefront now that its sixth grade students have access to iPads. The iPad pilot program was night in front of  parents, teachers, and administrators. 

A Cal Poly Pomona student was on suspicion of pulling a strong arm robbery outside the Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon. Ling Wei Shyang, 21, is from Malaysia.

Sen. Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) was named on Wednesday by the League of California Cities. He will be presented with the award later in the year.

During meeting, a potential truck route through the area and the spread of West Nile virus was discussed.

In football news, the Diamond Ranch High School Panthers Thursday, defeating the Chaffey Tigers 29-6.
