Whiz Kid: Hannah Sevillano Looks to Soccer Stardom

The South Pointe Middle School student hopes to make it big in soccer, but isn't quitting her day job. She maintains straight As and is a leader of her choir class.

Hannah Sevillano, 11, is proof that multi-tasking is more than just a buzz word.

The student manages playing for two competitive soccer squads, serving as president of her choir class, rehearsing for the school's Seussical musical, all while keeping a 4.0 GPA.

Hannah's father, Frank, said that he is impressed by the various activities that his daughter juggles throughout the school year.

"I'm not sure what drives her to accomplish so much," Hannah's father wrote, "I think she just loves the challenges in the classroom and on the field."

Hannah aspires to move on to play soccer for a Division 1 school like Stanford or North Carolina before playing for or finding a career in professional soccer, a choice inspired by two of her idols on the U.S. Olympic Team, Mia Hamm and Christine Lilly.
