Raising Your Voice: All Big Things, Start Small

The world offers much to us, and in return, the Voice of the World deserves to be heard

Times are changing. Around the world, people are trying to pursue happiness, as well as a sense of peace, security, and prosperity. However, some of these people do not have a fair chance in these pursuits, due to civil rights violations in many countries. Modern society is so caught up in its own pursuit of happiness that it does not take the time to heed the cries of those who have been left behind because of civil rights abuses.

This is where Voice of the World comes in. VOW is a non-profit organization and to this day — we continue to publish reports advocating against the violation of human rights on a global scale.

We hope to advance the cause of civil rights around the world through awareness and action. We will use our website as a medium to convey information about civil rights movements and human right violations around the world to you, the readers. We hope that you will take the time to read our articles, which will contain the said information, and pause to consider the impact of what you are reading. Then, we encourage you to also comment on those articles and voice your opinions. Although we are just high school students running this organization, the greater issue of civil rights transcends all age limits. As young people, we hope to shape a better future ahead of us for all people around the world through awareness.

We will always do our best to expand and contribute in greater magnitudes to the civil rights cause over time. However, to do this, we will also need support from the community around us, and the world. This is why we encourage our readers, if they agree with our efforts to help the world, that they donate even a small amount of time to our organization, which we will then use to further our cause and that of other civil rights organizations around the world.

The world offers much to us, and in return, the Voice of the World deserves to be heard.

[On a side note] Under new guidance, VOW launched it’s Facebook in late 2012, revealed it’s new staff, and its new site in early 2013. We hope to provide the world with a regenerated insight into VOW, and to be made available to a larger audience — in order to expose the masses to our never ending fight for civil rights. The readers would also be able to HELP ADVOCATE VOW by going to our site for more information if they wish to join.
