Free Car Seat Safety Checkup Event at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC), along
with the California Office of Traffic Safety, the Pomona Police Department, and
SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A., is hosting a free car seat safety check-up
event. Participants can get their safety seats checked by certified Child
Passenger Safety Technicians from Pomona Police Department and SafetyBeltSafe
U.S.A. to ensure they are used and installed correctly, as well as learn more
about the importance of buckling up appropriately for all children under the age
of 12.

Both seasoned parents and soon-to-be first-time
parents planning to deliver at the hospital will benefit from this event, as Technicians
will share the latest best practices for properly installing their safety seats
before bringing baby home.

The event is funded by a grant from the California
Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration.
