Thoroughly Modern Millie and Shopping

First we'll head to Glendale's premier shopping destination, The Americana at Brand where you can shop to your heart's content. Lunch is on your own and there are plenty of wonderful places to eat. Next, it's off to the Glendale Centre Theatre where we will see Thoroughly Modern Millie, a high-spirited musical romp that took Broadway by storm, winning the TONY award for Best Musical! Set in 1922, the story is about young Milicent Dillmount, who has just moved to New York City in search of a new life for herself. Based on the popular movie, filled with frisky flappers, zany characters and toe-tapping dance numbers, Millie is a perfect afternoon of madcap merriment.
