Two Arrested In Connection With Glendora Marijuana Operation

Men were arrested Monday afternoon. Police have the location secured and it is not immediately known when the operation was discovered.

Glendora Police discovered a marijuana grow in town and have arrested two men in connection with the operation, police said.

The marijuana grow was being conducted inside a building at what was described as an industrial complex in the 2000 block of East Gladstone Street. The search warrant will be processed some time Tuesday morning, because of the manpower required to implement it, said Lieutenant Joe Ward.

Authorities went to Diamond Bar where they arrested Sheldon Calderon, 21 and Noah Calderon, 29, both on suspicion of cultivating marijuana. Both are being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Authorities are still investigating the grow. It was not immediately known when the grow was discovered, or how big the operation is.

This story will continue to be updated as details become available.

@Bill C.... No, I am talking about my experience with federal law. I was in Federal Prison for 5 years for a pot offense. No, it was not for simple possession. I was arrested aboard a Lockheed PV2 in Marianna, Florida...charged and convicted for conspiracy to import and distribute 12,000 pounds of marijuana. As the 5 years rolled by, what I did see were armed bank robbers, coming and going...while I still sat there for marijuana. Most of the bank robbers only spent 17 to 24 months. But, I and my fellow 'drug offenders,'...we stayed for years. When I went to the parole board after 3 years 'behind the wall,' I pointed this out to the panel members. Their response, "You must understand that yours was a very serious offense." I laughed about that for 2 more years (as I still sat in prison), then wrote my book.

@Dr Research? Question: Why is 'big pharma' not being prosecuted? In 2009, 26,000 deaths from prescription medicines. Deaths caused by marijuana...not a single one in recorded history. Several years ago, I had surgery on my right shoulder. Pain medication was prescribed..."take one capsule every 4 hours." I took one capsule. I was down for over 20 hours. When I came to, I felt like I had been hit by a truck. The next time I felt discomfort, I smoked a small amount of marijuana ...pain gone, no after effects. I threw the pills out. If you choose not to use marijuana, that is your right. Please do not deny others their rights.
