UPDATED: Sig Alert Cancelled After Vehicle Overturns on 60 Freeway East

Traffic eastbound from the 71 is still jammed past Diamond Bar Blvd.

UPDATE, 1:51 p.m: The Sig Alert has been canceled, according to the CHP, but traffic is still slow on the 60 eastbound from Garey Avenue past Diamond Bar Blvd.

PREVIOUSLY: A collision involving a tractor trailer and an SUV happened on the 60 freeway eastbound near Garey Avenue Saturday afternoon.

A Sig Alert has been issued by the CHP at 1:10 p.m. for the HOV lanes, as well as the No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes for 30 minutes.

The SUV reported came to rest on one of its sides after reportedly colliding with a tractor trailer just before 1 p.m., according to the CHP. An occupant of the SUV was reportedly trapped, but it is unknown what, if any, injuries were sustained.

The accident is blocking the No. 2 and 3 lanes of the 60 eastbound.
