Diamond Bar Gearing Up for 'Spooktacular' Halloween Events
The city is planning several events for Halloween, including a dance Thursday at the Senior Center.
City of Diamond Bar staff is busy brewing up a host of spooktacular events that are sure to get everyone in the Halloween spirit! Here are the details:
Thursday, October 24 – Senior Halloween Dance
Adults age 55 and older and invited to boo-gie along to the Diamond Bar Center for the City’s annual senior Halloween Dance, taking place on Thursday, October 24 from 6 to 9pm. The evening will consist of dinner followed by a costume contest, dancing, and prizes. Costumes are optional; the cost is $15 per person. For more information or to reserve a seat, call 909.839.7068.
Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31 – Haunted House
If a good scare quickens your pulse and you don’t pale easily at the sight of zombies, scary clowns, and other nightmare-inducing characters, you’ll want to check out the City’s popular Haunted House at Heritage Community Center. This fang-tastic attraction is available on the evenings of Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31 from 6 to 9pm. Be advised that the Haunted House is not recommended for children younger than age 8 and those who scare easily. Thursday, October 31 – Fall Fun Festival
It will be all treats-no tricks at the City’s annual Fall Fun Festival taking place Thursday, October 31 from 4:30pm to 8:30pm at Heritage Park. Parents are encouraged to bring their children ages 2 to 8 to enjoy a scare-free Halloween filled with crafts, games, snacks, and picture-taking opportunities. Admission is free; however participation in games or crafts requires the purchase of a $5 punch card (good for 10 games). Heritage Park is located at 2900 S. Brea Canyon Road.
