Has the WVUSD spent the Measures S & Y funds wisely and fairly?

The Walnut Valley Unified School District has spent over $11 million to construct a swimming pool at Diamond Bar High School.  Surely, they could have added a pool similar to Walnut High School's at a fraction of the cost and still have millions left to upgrade existing and construct new classrooms at various campuses throughout the district.  Also, can anyone explain why the district allocated $39 million to DBHS and only $9 million to WHS?  This huge disparity strikes me as flagrantly unfair.  WHS is a much older school, and in my opinion, in greater need of new buildings and upgraded facilities.  It is appalling how the district just thoughtlessly squeezed in badly needed new classroom buildings and a new band/orchestra building wherever there was enough space.  Walnut students and residents deserve a high school with a well planned campus that is a source of pride to the community.  WHS is one of Walnut's most notable and recognized institution, but the district is turning it into a real eyesore.
