Singing Night Birds

What is that sound at night?  I love birds and I am hearing birds at night singing their hearts out.  Anyone know what kids of birds these are?

I agree, probably Mockingbirds.

Thank you for your responses. I have since learned you are correct they are mockingbirds. The night I heard the songs I recorded the songs. I heard the same mockingbird song last Saturday mid-morning, same song, in the same order of sounds, not random at all. This time I was able to see the mockingbird. Now I know who the noisemakers are, lol.

Yup! Mocking (exactly) birds! Not random but a song strung together of different bird species. Didn't know they would emulate other sounds tho! I have two parrots and they're very smart. Only hope they don't pick up a phone ring, alarm, or a dripping faucet. You'll find yourself waiting for the next tune from a different tree. Insomniac in Walnut

@finchss Sometimes when I'm driving through certain areas of Long Beach, I hear what might be wild parrots. I've heard there are several flocks of wild parrots around Long Beach. When I say LOUD, I mean it's nothing you've ever heard before. Since you have 2 parrots, you may know what I'm talking about.
