Amber Alert Issued for 3-Year-Old Girl

An Amber Alert has been issued statewide for a 3-year-old girl abducted in Fresno County on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol

Tanya Ruiz was taken from the city of Huron around 7:45 p.m., CHP officials said. She is described as Hispanic girl standing about 3 feet tall and weighing 33 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. 

She was last seen wearing a brown shirt with flowers, blue jean shorts and white sandals, according to the CHP. 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man around 30 years old with long hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and red hat, CHP officials said.
