The coroner's office Friday identified a woman who was found dead Tuesday at a waste collection facility in Industry, the third time a body has been found at the plant in slightly more than one year.

The body of 45-year-old Kesha Williams was discovered about 9 a.m. in the 14000 block of Valley Boulevard, according to Sgt. Diane Hecht of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

The sheriff's department originally reported the body was that of a male.

Williams was found at the Athens Services plant and investigators believe she was in a load of trash deposited at the facility, according to the Los Angeles Times, which reported that an autopsy was pending to determine the cause of death.

Family members told investigators that Williams, who frequented the Leimert Park area, was not close to them, sheriff's Lt. Eddie Hernandez told The Times.

The trash with which the woman was found was picked up in Leimert Park, Hernandez told The Times.

On Dec. 10, 2012, the body of a newborn girl was found dead by an employee using a conveyor belt to sort trash at the same plant.

The body of a man was found on a conveyor belt at the facility during the summer, according to The Times.
