All lanes on the southbound 57 freeway have be reopened following a non-injury crash in which a car caught on fire.

A sig alert has been issued for the 57 Freeway southbound just north of Pathfinder Road due to a crash in which a car caught on fire, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision between a delivery truck and a small red car was reported at 3:41 p.m.  The car erupted into flames following the crash. Witnesses reported that a man was running across freeway lanes, according to the CHP

Several lanes are closed. Patch will update this story as more information becomes available.

The red car hit a Mercedes, not a truck. And it was a woman that ran across the freeway.
