Cops Swarm to Possible DB Break-in, no Burglary

Sheriff's deputies in Diamond Bar sent a full response to the 22000 block of Cello Drive to investigate a possible burglary, which turned out to be a false alarm.

A swarm of about 10 police cruisers, lights and sirens going, responded to a possible burglary in Diamond Bar Thursday but it turned out to be a false alarm.

The cops were sent to a possible burglary in the 22000 block of Cello Drive about 1:45 p.m., according to Los Angeles sheriff's Lt. John Saleeby.

When they arrived, they found a door open but no burglar, Saleeby told Patch.

The resident had left the door opened, the lieutenant said.

Next to the Ron Jeremy story, seems the Walnut Patch must be going for a Pulitzer. Snore.

A reader saw the cops and wanted to know what that was all about. We're just trying to keep the community informed the best we can Vito...no Pulitzer necessary.
