Crash on 60 Freeway Closes Transition to 605

The wreck included a trash truck, big rig, and a car, authorities said.

A multi-vehicle crash today closed the transition road from the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway to the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway today and blocked three westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway, authorities said.

The crash, reported shortly before 5 a.m., involved a trash truck, a big rig and a car, the California Highway Patrol reported. No one was hurt.

All lanes of the westbound 60 Freeway were reopened about 7:15 a.m., but the transition road remained closed while crews worked to repair damaged guardrail, the CHP reported.
