An 88-year-old man with failing kidneys and high blood pressure went missing and sheriff's officials Friday asked the public for help in finding him.
Wallace Burl Tallent is white, 5 feet 10 and 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, Los Angeles County sheriff's Detective Tamar Abraham stated in a news release.
He left his home in the 1400 block of Spruce Tree Drive about 11:45 p.m. Thursday, Abraham wrote.
He wears glasses and has a scar on his chest about 4 inches long, authorities said; He also has no teeth.
Tallent left his home driving a 2013 Kia Optima with a California license plate number of MRSWBT on the front plate and a rear plate reading MRWBT, the detective reported.
The octogenarian -- he suffers from kidney failure and high blood pressure -- has not been heard from since he walked out of the home, Abraham said.
Officials ask that anyone with information call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau, Missing Person’s Detail at 323-890-5500.
