The head-on crash happened around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday in the westbound lanes of West Huntington Drive just east of Civic Center Place, said Arcadia police Lt. Mike Castro.

Firefighters took about 45 minutes to cut a woman from the wreckage of the gray Toyota she was driving, a news photographer reported from the scene.
